I’m really glad you’re here to help me in my fight to capture and control these creatures. While battling each other, they destroyed their own planet, so it’s up to us to make sure they don’t do the same to Earth. Remember that the fate of our world depends on us! All of them are hiding in our barcodes just waiting for the chance to strike, so I hope you’re up to the challenge. Stick with me, and we’ll make sure these creatures don’t have the chance to battle anyone except each other! Now, I’m going to guide you through the functions of the controller I designed. You have one of three different coloured controllers. The blue controller captures and controls the Zendra tribe of alien monsters. The green controller controls the Pataak tribe. Any “incompatible” monsters you may scan or battle can only be captured using one of the other two tribes’ controllers. Secret Flux Hint: Each controller is capable of collecting the 42 monsters from its particular tribe. The original Skannerz came in three versions which represented the three tribes: If a player scans a barcode containing a rival tribe's monster, a battle would be initiated.

Another feature is the two player battle system where two versions could be linked together and battle. The Skannerz Commander is second in the series. There are no "tribes" in this version nor are there different models. With this model the user that scans can get the opponent's monster by winning, but this means that therefore they will lose a monster with a loss. The Skannerz Commander game is incompatible with the original Skannerz models.
The Skannerz Racerz is the third in the Skannerz series, where you can scan barcodes, and race cars from three classes: "Off-Road", "Drag", and "Street". There are 120 cars in total, which consists of 40 cars per class.
